Seriously? For Real? More Joe Budden/Ransom BS
So it's getting more and more interesting. I never thought i would see the day where people got thugged out gangsta and all of that on youtube. Im kind of disappointed In joe Budden for his video. He should have pulled A Jay-Z and said ONE or TWO lines in a track and dissed him like 2 months later. LOL. Ughhh Wake me up when this is over

Diddy Offers Mayor A Milli To Change The Ball To Ciroc Blue
Seriously? Blue Balls for the new year, I never thought I'd see the day. He's a great Advertiser and businessman. He's going to get that money back ten fold. Diddy's a smart guy but i dont understand what he's doing with his artist. Danity Kane (He Milked until he couldnt anymore), These new guys )Day 26) should be dismantled soon.
Joe Budden Tv: Ransom Got Beat Up
"Dont talk about My man's Couch No More"
I cant wait until they get to the music. I wanna hear some good diss tracks but i just hope it doesnt go to the streets, This was the message on his You Tube:

Oh Really?
Shawty Lo decided to give back to the kids in Atlanta by holding a Toy drive. There wasn't any gifts for younger kids while older kids got stuff like bikes and such. One mother who had really young kids got mad and started spazzin.
1 - You got a problem then walk out and NONE of your kids get shit
2 - How you complaining about free shit
3 - Its a charity, nothing was promised to you
4 - Your kids are embarassed shut up.
5 - That lady shoulda clothes lined her.

Ja Rule - Atkins File (Mixtape)

YES!!! No one else understands my undying love for Ja's Music. I have been a rule fan since i saw him Jay-Z, and DMX performing some song on a show on TV. I was actually very excited and curious as to who he was. When Murder Inc. blew up back in the late 90's and early 2000's i was excited and became a fa. People can say what they want aout him now but im not a bandwagon rider (Some of You 50 Fans who were Ja Fans) and i have and always will be a Ja-Rule fan.
Anyway Ja Rule has a new mixtape tha he dropped on Myspace last night called the Atkin's files. I listened to it and i liked it overall. So Check It Out:
ATKIN'S FILES - Ja Rule (MixTape)
B.o.B Unplugged - I'll Be In The Sky.
I was invited to this and I'm kind of upset that i opted to come back to NY a day early. This Sunday B.o.B gave an unplugged performance in Atlanta (right after i left) and here's his I'll be in the sky performance. I'm kind of anxious about the video, cant wait to see how that turned out. The pics look great.
B.o.B does remind me of Outkast (lol) but i wont compare him tot hem because he's his own individual and that's what i think i like about his music the most. It's different.

Gorilla Zoe - Lost (Official Video)
When i first saw this i didn't watch the whole think and dismissed it as one of those sneak peak videos of the video. I don't like posting sneak peaks of videos i'd rather wait for the video to come out but this WAS the official video.....=/
Anyway I liked this song for some reason i think i was gonna off the Applebees (Being full is like being high, and you cant tell me different lol) and on my way to campus to hit the library and i was like this song is too ill. I don't know what he's talking about but this song is ill LOL. Then Lil' Wayne got on and startedscreeching and yelling rapping and it blew my food induced high, even though his part was kind of OK.

New Beyonce Videos
Halo has grown on me sooo much that i think its one of my favorite songs on that album other than the tracks on Sasha Fierce's album.
I personally don't like the Halo video, because of the color they could have saturated and gave us deeper colors but i guess they had to use lighter colors since they are referring to a man as an angel but DIVA? That video is THE BOMB. It shows Bey in RARE form she was being a diva instead of the humble Bey we see in interviews. I was waiting for her to get cocky, i mean your dating a Brooklyn dude. Lol Great songs, Great Videos, You heard that from a Beyonce/Sasha Fierce Skeptic!
Fab Wont Dis Other Rappers + Ransom Responds To Joe
Fab and Budden sit down and have that good ol' barber shop talk. Speaking of Fab Rich Yung and BKc is having a sell. 50% off all rich young stuff and about 20% off all Brooklyn Circus clothes sooo i think you brooklyn people need to head down there between like the 26th and the 30th and get it for cheap. Recession.
"Nigga SAY NO!" - Budden.
Anyway i wish alot of artists would keep it real. Speaking of Joe Budden, and dissing rappers and all that other stuff remember when he was discussing ransom? Well ransom decided that he would respond back to the toyota lambo comment and says Fab was with Budden's girl.

Al Be Back & CurT@!n$ - Oh My God
This guy Al Be Back was first introduced to me either on ATL or on Def Poetry Jam, I have a horrible sense of time, so I'm not exactly sure which one dropped first. I remember when i posted a recent video
well courtesy of 2dopeboyz here's his new joint with CurT@!n$. Al B Back is definitely one guy on my "artists to look out for in 2009" list.
Al Be Back & CurT@!n$ - Oh My God
Well here's that video i told you about earlier that i posted a while back:
Tell me this isn't a great love/breakup/i hate you/ song? You absolutely have to love this, i love ANY video shot in the projects lol.

Joe - "Its different to know and to have been there"
I agree but you cant knock him for actually knowing his stuff. I happen to be a youngin' maybe older than Charles Hamilton, but I do believe when your young you don't know what it was like to hear an LL album and a Rakim album or a Slick Rick album, especially during the whole hype of the album, but i think its amazing that you can listen to an old school artist and appreciate it while the hype isn't at the magnitude it was when it initially came out. Like Enuff or Ortiz said you also don't want to put the greatest artists in an order. I know i don't like telling my top ten favorite artists because people get mad and tell you your wrong as if you were spitting your list as fact instead of opinion.
Who's your favorite artist of all time, mines is Undoubtedly still Biggie!

It's the Real - Wreck N Effect X Mas
Question: "What do you want for X-Mas?"
Answer: "All i wanna do is zooma zoom zoom and a boom boom"
He Rap. He Sang - T- Wayne
LMAO, I'm confused who's the rapper who's the singer?
OK OK I'll be nice, and say that this is interestingly funny. The whole T-Wayne thing is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS but how else will you sell an album and sell alot of that album? Put two of the most overrated artists together on one album, and let them make whatever auto tuned charged, syrup filled, word slurred, costume wearing, songs that they can create on it. BAM! We have a platinum selling album. =/

Kim In Amsterdam
The sex and Drug capital of the world. I love Kim and no matter what you guys say about her i will continue to believe that she's the baddest. There has been a lack of female artists (Which i continuously say on this blog at least once a week) and i know Kim took a hit when she did her stint in jail but i believe with the right producers and some time off to write a album Kim would be right back on top. Everyone who doesn't believe so is probably a hater lol.

The Gentlemen Doesnt Like Darkskinned Babies
Clearly Ne Yo was trying to justify why he looks the way he looks? Maybe?
Anyway i think he should keep his thoughts to himself on which kids are cute and which kids are ugly. I know people will jump to his rescue and say I'm over analyzing (which I'm not) but when people make statements like that its just their conscious coming up to surface in an interview. Its how they feel. I aint mad but I'm happy to see that his ignorance is showing because he was held on such a high pedestal as a gentleman that it was making me sick.
Gentlemen don't take pictures of young ladies performing Fellatio on a camera phone.

Asher Roth and Kid Cudi Freestyling
I was more focused on Asher than Cudi. I dont know i really like this dude. I think in the right hands he would be a great M.C. but i dont think he's going to be put in the right hands. Alot of artists sign contracts and get involved in deals with people who dont promote the album, the music, for all that ...the whole artist.

Not My Kids
I like the fact that he has decided to clean up his act (
OK Collipark we see you!
Papoose on Kay Slay's Radio Show
I got lost at "Who Allah Blessed". *Blink* I hope he didnt just refer him self as someone who follows the....You know what i promised to keep it positive today.
He's still nice on the Mic and I wonder what his beat was because i know it would have been BANANAS to hear the beat with his freestyle. Like i said in my previous Leaders of the new school post, Papoose is actually very nice when it comes to spitting, and he still reminds me of Nas with a twist. I wish he would have dropped an album or something, just to see what it would have sounded like. KAY SLAY!! None of that perferred treatment "My Dudes Spit!"

Keyshia cole Gets Interviewed By Angie and Flex
Keyshia Cole has changed and she looks great in the all black hair. The family is actually very interesting, the show is hot, but this interview was boring.
WAIT Did Flex Say Young Jeezy LMAO! Flex keeps it real and he knows what we want to hear. I love Jeezy dont talk about him Keyshia! lol. I dont know what their situation was and didnt even
Fabolous Sits down with DJ Semtex
Fab breaks down a number of stuff. I think i agree with how he feels about the movie trailer because trailers are misleading. I think that because Biggie's Mother was there EVERYDAY while they were shooting, it's going to be an amazing video.
Brooklyn We Go Hard - YES! Semtex is wild for that, I think Fab, Red Cafe, Hov, And Uncle Murda would be a hot Brooklyn go hard remix. Ummm Jay, Think about it. Swagga Like us was crazy but Brooklyn go hard would be straight bananas.
Fab's 09' Heavy Hitters - Cory Is DEFINITELY going to be a problem. I think that i agree with Fab's choices. Alot of people (Including myself) have been sleeping on him in the beginning, but i definitely think Hamilton will do his thing this year.
Watch the video and see what he has to say about 808's and heartbreaks and everything else. I LOVE FAB and he's another one of my favorite underrated rappers (Like Joe Budden) Cant wait to hear Loso's Way.
Obsessed & Madea goes To Jail (Trailers)
*sigh* I hope Beyonce did a good job in this movie. I dont really like her acting skills (Cadillac Records) but the movie looks good and so does my make believe boo Idris Elba. OMG HE SO FINE!!! I'd go just to see him, plus I heard Bey gets gangsta and has to actually fight the girl in a less choreographed manner. She's been bragging about this since forever so i'll definitely go see it.
ALI CARTER! Thats like my favorite crazy and deranged white girl. Is it me or does she play the psycho in alot of movies? Love it!
In Other Movie news
Tyler Perry decided that he would cross dress once more for his latest Madea installment. I guess us black people cant get enough of his movies and his ideas dont stop. Well here's the trailer for it:
If you ask me it doesnt look anything like the play which i enjoyed. The play was hilarious, the movie, i might just go see. My favorite part from the play is when she speaks about the tree, the roots, the branch and seasonal people. I sure hope Tyler Perry left that part in.

Royce Da 5'9" - Shake This Video
I Gotta Shake this. This song is deep, a song that i guess really documents stuff going on in his life. I cant say much about the song it speaks for it self.

KRS One x Mickey Factz Spit Ya Game Freestyle
KRS one has been doing this since like forever. I didnt pay him much attention but i see you Mickey trying to be all politically correct. I was on Imeem and I wanted to share This Mickey Factz song with you guys. Alot of people haven't really heard alot from him and didnt know about him UNTIL the XXL Cover. Here it is:
The Boy Is mines (10 Years later)
After Ten Years of not performing this song together, two Diva's, Monica and Brandy performed "The Boy Is Mines" on stage together.
Isn't is nice to see Brandy on stage doing her thing and getting support from another R&B artists?

Babs bunny - Clap Like this.
Not feeling this. Remy ma Please come back.
I dont know why i wanted babs to win during the making The band show with all the hoodrat people but i did. I see Diddy did NOTHING with her and i think i see why. However the dude from philly (Elliot Ness) is nice.
Female rappers, where have you all gone, pleaseeee dont throw Nicki Minaj in my face, i dont want to hear it. I'll just file this under anything, i dont even care.
FINALLY! Walsh Murderer Finally I.D'd
I remember when my grandmother used to turn to this television show called "America's Most Wanted" and i would watch it and only hope that i could snitch on some kid killer back in the 90's. I didn't care how un-cool snitching was i wanted to turn somebody from America's Most Wanted in. I remember when my grandma said that the guy (John Walsh) who hosted the show had started the show because his son was murdered. The Boy's head was found but not his body, and the case was never solved until now.
Im happy he finally got some kind of closure.
Im happy he finally got some kind of closure.
Biggie: To Know Him Is To Love Him. (1997)
This is one of Biggies Last Interviews In '97 before he left us. He talks about his last album "Life After Death" and he explains the whole concept of the names for his previous album (Ready To Die) Which i was happy to see because everybody just automatically says these guys predicted their deaths when that was clearly false, it was something they were going through while they were alive which is WAY more powerful and meaningful then them predicting their deaths.
He speaks on Junior MAFIA, Lil Kim, And His relationship with Faith (awww).
This made me realize all of the things that Biggie could have been and done. Imagine if he would have stayed around a year longer we would have had Biggie Clothes and Biggie Clubs Imagine walking into one of His Boutiques today?

DJ Semtex Interviews ?uest Love
UK Pioneer Semtex sits down with ?uestLove to speak about that tour bus accident and getting strip searched, And Blue Collar Hip Hop. He also speaks about being the house band for Jimmy Fallon. They canceled that tour for Jimmy Fallon, I Hope this brings alot of artists to the show, that would be amazing (As long as its not Hurricane Chris or something because i don't want to see Ay Bay Bay with a live band.
Styles P The Ghost Freestyle.
I been waiting for this part of the interview. VladTV is also doing a Jim Jones Interview and i hope that a freestyle comes at the end of that because i just think it would be interesting, WAY more interesting then how much he walks around with in his pockets =/.

I dont know Saigon, give us something else.

Governor Paterson Is Tripping.

The recession is hitting everyone, even people who actually buy albums.
Trying to close a $15.4 billion budget gap, Paterson called for 88 new fees and a host of other taxes, including an "iPod tax" that taxes the sale of downloaded music and other "digitally delivered entertainment services."
"We're going to have to take some extreme measures," Paterson said Tuesday after unveiling the slash-and-burn budget.
Artists i think you guys need to say something about this. People already dont buy your albums, do you think they'll download your stuff if we're taxed?
Well i think this is horrible to raise taxes on music. The one thing that we need in times like this.

Nasim & Mazzi speak on how they feel about arab money By busta rhymes.
I told you this was offensive, and i knew they weren't speaking any real arabic language in that hook. Your rapping PARTS OF THE Qu'Ran?? Yo thats like cursing in a church around Christians.
My first thought was "The Arabs Aint Happy About This" if you dont believe me, type "Arabs aint happy" in the search bar and see what pops up.
What was your first thought when you heard Arab money?

Interview In Autotune (Ron Browz)
Oh Really? An Entire Album In Autotune?
It's funny how he doesnt know what Autotune is. He couldnt explain it. I mean even the people over at Wikipedia know what Autotune is.
I also hate how they argue about who started this whole Autotune usage thing. If you didnt know Zapp and Roger started this so all of you can CHILL OUT! (Computer loveeeee)

Death Of Lyricism But Not The Lyricist

Lyricism
--An intense outpouring of exuberant emotion.
Lyricist
--a person who writes the words for songs.
In the old days (1980's - 1998) alot of people listened to songs that had lyrics that you could shake your head to, and reminisce back to a part of your life where those lyrics pertained to. There was a time when you could listen to a song and in the end or at the climax of the song utter "Damn, that's deep". There was a time when rappers were storytellers who spoke of, but didn't glorify the horrible conditions that ran rampant through the African American and Poor neighborhoods. They didn't exploit ignorance like alot of rappers do today just to sell an album and make a buck.
I don't know when artists first started rapping about nothing in particular, and saying anything that rhymed for the sake of rhyming. I don't know when consumers and Hip Hop Lovers allowed artists to short them of good music. I don't know when it was OK to have 2 or 3 good songs on an album along with 8 or 9 trashy songs that the listener probably wont ever like or listen to.
What happened to the Illmatic's, reasonable Doubt's, And Let's not forget the Be's (Common), Biggies story telling albums, and of course the Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill? (You cant tell me Lauryn wasn't a rapper in her own sense. If your still considering Kanye a rap artist, then so is Lauryn who's iller than Kanye is, and ever will be), and Outkast's Aquemini. No More conscious rap? Now Conscious Rap is a Curse free Master P Album. *sigh*
I sometimes have to ask myself, "Is it hard to make an album where every joint on the album is something that can be considered a classic?". Are artists afraid that if they make an album full of classic songs, great songs, songs that tell a story, songs with substance, that they will never ever be able to make another album?
I Was Told By A blog reader Via My Comments -
"[people] get me sick, [Soulja boy] really make good music he makes what ppl want to hear in today's world. Every one is on the go its a fast paced world and no one has time to figure out what the [expletive] you trying to say in your rhymes. People really just want to dance and listen but not listen. They want something simple to hear that's it that's why new york rappers are dead no body give a [expletive] bout your story, [people] just want fun feel good music they can relate to."
I was shocked. He claims that the world is so messed up that people don't want to hear meaningful lyrics, that people are on the go and don't want to hear lyrical content worth listening to. When the world is in a frenzy, THAT'S when people should take the time to (excuse my french) stop bullshitting and listen to something meaningful. Is it my passion for music? My intense love for purpose and substance? If you want to blame that then by all means blame that!
I know that we have to have our CLUB MUSIC, LOVE MUSIC, but whats up with this new NONE OF THE ABOVE MUSIC. Music where people are raping but about nothing, or sometimes about everything UNDER THE SUN!! Drug induced rappers, who speak just like well, ....drug induced people speak. That Music is confusing, more confusing than a Sarah Palin/Lil Wayne Interview.
He says people want to hear music that we can relate to, by a show of hands how many of you can relate to Soulja Boy's Music?
How many of you have "Stacks On Deck"?, How many of you have all of that Ringtone money (That would be a hot Arab money remix)??? I can't relate to soulja boy and I'm sure not alot of you really can. How do you relate to "Crank Dat", "Birdwalk", and The new one "I Hop up out my beeeddd turn my swag on,.. I'm getting moneyy" WHAT? I don't bash Soulja Boy, i simply point out the fact that he is not a rap artists. He's a children's musician. He makes music for kids. He makes music so that he can get paid, and that's it. I cant blame him for raping the rap industry, or using it for a means of getting money, because the rap industry was RAPING listeners before he came into the picture. So i don't blame him for the non existent death of Hip Hop.
I think The death of lyricism started with Bling Bling Rap (Cash Money Millionaires, B.G. and Lil Wayne Mannie Fresh, Yep YALL). Rappers began to see the money in rapping and eventually started to rhyme about the money they were making and the material things that they could obtain with the money. They began rhyming about the cars, the houses, diamonds and gold, and of course the women that came along with having all of that. When this happened there was no need for the passion that was used, and the story telling involved with lyricism, when your lyrics are mainly about monetary success.
Though the lyricist, or person who writes the lyrics to a song is still here, alive, kicking and writing, the lyricism in a song, the passion, emotion, and meaning of the words spit over a nice beat or before and after a hot chorus or a hook has died and gone. I don't know who'll bring it back or if it will come back but I'm sure I'm not alone when i say, I Miss it.
Blog Of The Week.

I read through alot of blogs here on blogger and one of my favorites is definitely Life After Jervis
He mixes a little bit of everything together and i think thats why he has so many readers. His blog is like a mixture of Music, sports, art, fashion, and life. He gives his opinion and welcomes feedback whether its negative or positive. Even though we sometimes disagree on some things he thinks about music (i.e. soulja Boy) he's very talented. I think what his readers might like about him the most is that he interacts with them more than any other blogger you know. I decided that i would also post my favorite post from the blogger. Im from NY, a New York Native, born there, lived in 2 out of 5 boroughs, (possibly three if im forgetting one) so my favorite post would definitely be The One where he professes his love for the city and public transportation .
Check It Out!
Jim Jones Interview/ How I Feel About These Vlogs.
I want you to watch this before i say something. I have been called a hater but i know im not, I just say stuff that others dont agree with. So watch this, maybe you'll understand why im about to say what i have to say.
Watched it? GOOD.
Now is this something that you want to see in an interview? is this something that you actually care about? I mean seriously, if you are over the age of,..lets say 18, and your not a stick up kid, do you really care about how much Jim Jones is walking around with?
I didnt think so. I would continue saying what i want to say but i dont want to offend any one, however i would say this and anybody can take it how they want, "Interviews with SUBSTANCE".

Sooner Or Later - N.E.R.D
"Sooner or later it all comes crashing down, crashing down"
I happen to like the video and the concept of the video, even though I'm not into N.E.R.D's music *GASP*
I think his work is art, interesting and how could you NOT like a black rock and roll star (Jim Jones DOES NOT COUNT). I lovedddd the guitar in the end. Is it me or does Guitar add a certain flare to any song? Did you see the cameo by Rob from the MTV show Rob And Big?

Diddy's Competition "I Am King"
I went to Macy's yesterday and walked past this and they happened to only have 2 LEFT!! im like this stuff must smell good so i asked the lady could i smell it. I swear its nothing i would want to smell on a man. Its not sexy and its very Feminine. It has a citrus-y smell.
Speaking of citrus fruits here's how me and the lady in Macy's almost got into a fight.
ME - "Are you sure this is a men's cologne, It smells like a citrus fruit which is usually meant for women." (talking to my aunt, rhetorical question)
Woman - "Yes, it is for men and it doesnt smell like a citrus fruit, it smells like grape fruit"
Me - (gives her the side eye) "ma'am, did you say Grapefruit?"
Woman - "Yes, dont you agree" she directs her question towards my aunt who knows what im thinking.
Aunt - "Yes"
Woman (Gives me the side eye like she said something smart) *Smile*
Me - "Hmmm ok thanks, I think I'll be buying something a little less FEMININE" (As sarcastic as possible)
.... IF IM NOT MISTAKEN, grapefruits are apart of the citrus family right? I thought so....

Joe Budden Vs. Ransom Vs. Papoose
Comparing Ransom With Joe Budden? I don't see it. I'm not in a very good mood today but i will say that Joe Budden Made my day with his sarcasm. Budden is far from a Hardcore Thug, he speaks REAL stuff and there's a difference from being hood and being REAL. Sometimes people don't see the difference. Giovanni cant really see me with his "Encyclopedia of Hip Hop" talk.

Knaye - "Turn My Autotune UP SNL"
They may not have turned his autotune up, but they sure as hell needed to, Kanye is NOT a singer lol. It was either low or he didn't use it at all. Are there portable Autotune machines?
ANYWAY Wanna know what i think about this performance? Kanye be feeling his music and i felt it. I started off not liking this whole autotune record. I liked that he decided to do it because i felt like he was taking control of HIS music and it was him doing what he wanted to, but i knew i probably wouldn't like it. Pinocchio story has grown on me TREMENDOUSLY. I can understand where he was coming from in the song and i love how he mixed it with heartless in this performance. I think i wanted to cry and fight the heartless female. This performance was AMAZING. One of the best performances that SNL has had all year long. BEYONCE ...KANYE BEAT YOU!
His album (which i had to listen to a couple of times) is relationships, break ups from a males perspective and i think females didn't understand it (i didn't) but I'm glad i listened and now i understand that you guys do hurt too.
"I Just Wanna Be A Real boy" - Alot of you artists need to listen to this song, losing yourselves in the cash, bling, and bitches. Kanye's telling us he's just human, and the music industry makes him feel ....unhuman. He just wants to be a real boy.
Here's Kanye performing Love Lockdown on SNL

Charles hamilton as well as two of the other ten freshmen were the only one's i had interest in. Charles was the lesser of the three and he's moving on up on my "People I'll follow, and look out for" list.

We'll always Love Big Poppa
"It Was all a dream, I Used to read Word Up! Magazine"
In Honor Of Biggies new movie I'll Probably have alot of Proud Brooklyn Moments, and post alot of Biggie Videos, freestyles, performances and interviews before the movie drops. I think I loved Biggie since i first heard him oN Mary's Real Love remix and Super Cats Dolly My Baby (Which still has the highest number of plays on my itunes), and then Flava In ya ear came out and i was hooked so when Juicy dropped immediately after.....smh it was over. The first artist to ever pass away and i actually cried because i was upset, was biggie. I Never got to go to a Biggie concert because i was too young (tears). I don't know who else could possibly be more excited about A Biggie smalls movie than the proud People of Brooklyn and of course his Mom Ms. Wallace. Anyway Here's some oldschool Biggie Videos (Throwback Freestyles)
This that oldschool very infamous freestyle of B.I.G on the corner freestyling when he was 17.
WAIT..Im not Done YET!!! Another Biggie Freestyle With NAS. Nas Ripped it, and who was that wiping his face off like that? Nah Man! LOL Nah. Then Biggie comes to the mic and .....the crowd goes wild. (Smile)
Music isn't the same and change is inevitable but I'm not one to encourage change unless its for the better. I don't think music necessarily took a change for the better, at least in my own opinion, so Biggie is TERRIBLY missed by me.

Jean Graeee We've Missed You.
I remember when Jean Grae was selling verses On Craigs List. I thought that was too funny and obviously a joke (It Wasnt) but anyway. I was in a serious conversation about the decline in quality female rappers (I Said Quality, and Nicki Minaj these new chicks are just not quality in my eyes). Well heres Jean Grae along with 9th wonder and talib Kweli.
**in regards to my Nicki Minaj AKA New Chicks Comment, i actually liked her music when she first came out and supported her due to the lack of a female rapper at that moment in time but im tired of hearing about how she's the baddest bitch. Its annoying now, almost like 50 cent and how many times he got shot.**

LMAO First Maino trying to use the hand of God on Young Berg, Now Hell Rell is trying to use it on Max B. There's either alot of blasphemy going on or all of these dudes are 5 percenters. If you want to see some messy ignorant talk press play.
This is probably the best circus since the wringling brothers. Once again i would like to thank Cam'ron for not joining this circus. Can somebody please find Cam by the way. Please and thank you.

President Bush's Neighborhood Had A Rule; WHITES ONLY!

President Bush has to move him and his family out of the white house and he recently purchased a new home. The new neighborhood he lives in has a rule that is as racist as a Minstrel show in south Carolina back in 1940. The New neighborhood had but one rule which read:
"Said property shall be used and occupied by white persons only except these covenants shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of a different race or nationality …”
So Basically only white people could buy the house and their black maids and stuff could work there. President Bush just can't win, and for some reason the Kanye West Quote "President Bush DOES NOT CARE about black people" Comes to mind lol. I dont want to call the man a racist or anything because he didnt write the ordinance he just bought the house but guess what???? THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME THIS CLAUSE POPPED UP ON ONE OF HIS DEEDS!! NY Daily News also says:
But it’s not the first time this sort of language has popped up on a Bush property deed.
The same restrictive clause appeared on a house he purchased in Texas in 1988 and then sold in 1995. The clause – called a racial covenant – was first reported by Matt Drudge in 1999 when Bush was serving as Texas governor.
Hmm, maybe he just doesnt want to live around black people.Of course real estate agents were quick to defend him and probably themselves as well, but i would still like to know how many black people actually live there. To read the document for his new neighborhood just click HERE
...Speaking of stuff that can make black people hate you, have any of you guys heard the Kevin Federline track where he talks about Obama winning the election and black people drinking grape soda, taking over the white house, and eating collard greens and stuff at the white house? Yep!! Kevin Federline; Brittany Spears' ex pimp.

Picked this picture because i was feeling very reasonable doubt-ish listening to this. He really took it back with this track.
Whoaaaaa I Saw this and I had to let you guys hear this. Its supposed to be off the "Notorious" soundtrack. Im a brooklyn Native and us Brooklyn people are so proud of where we from. After seeing everybody throw "Brooklyn (We Go Hard)" on myspace pages all across NY and even some people in other states i cant wait to see how long it takes before they have this posted.

Freshmen from 08: who's passing and who didnt

DISCLAIMER: This is merely my opinion and how i feel, if you feel different you encouraged to voice that difference of opinion in the comments section however if your a stan and decide to go off cursing and stuff i will more than likely ignore you.
I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY READ THIS. Probably no one since its long and A.D.H.D
So a friend of mines was asking whats the big deal with the Ten Freshmen of 2009 which include Wale, B.o.B, Charles Hamilton, Asher Roth, Cory Gunz, Blu, Mickey Factz, Ace Hood, and Kid Cudi. I really couldn't explain it besides the fact that we were getting new blood in the hip hop game and people were really excited about it. Especially since hip hop was presumed dead by NAS on December 19, 2006 (Wikipedia Babyy!!!), While Outkast declared Hip Hop dead in 2001 on their song "Funkin' Around".
I figured that was what was so exciting then my friend said well what about the Freshmen from last year, which was an interesting question so i decided to go back and see which of last years Ten Freshmen had actually passed class and are doing good this semester.
Joell Ortiz - I actually saw someone type in my comments on here "Man, Joell Ortiz should have made the Top Freshmen of 09' Cover" When i saw that i was like ..why? Not realizing that maybe they didn't know that he was actually on the cover from last year. Joell Ortiz has definitely passed but not with honors. He is really a good MC but due to lack of promotion on Aftermath alot of people who are only into mainstream rap music may not know about him. Lets hope that 2009 brings the Brooklyn Bred Puerto Rican Rapper much more success and getting closer to graduation day. According to Joe Budden's Youtube, Ortiz Along with Joe Budden, Crooked I, and Royce Da 5'9" should be doing some kind of collaborative album which is going to be really good for Hip Hop.
Crooked I - Freshmen? I don't think i need to really continue with this. He's from the west coast and has his own record label. I don't see how he was a freshmen, but i guess it was because his album never really surfaced. *shrugs* Maybe he was more like one of the students who graduated but still hung around the school's premises
Papoose - I've been listening to Papoose since before i started college about 3 years ago. Papoose kind of reminded me of a different kind of Nas. He spit alot of knowledge and what not. I don't recall Papoose making alot of noise during this year, and I'm guessing its because his "wifey" is in jail on rikers for being found guilty in the shooting of her ex friend, Makeda Barnes. There is no passing grades because he's been absent for most of the year. As far as a graduation date there may never really be one. I don't know but he is a good MC so i can see why XXL picked him.
Lupe Fiasco - Do i have to say any other word other than Graduated? Lupe Fiasco has been doing his thing since he started. Not alot of people understand his music and would prefer the hardcore gangster rap promoting drugs violence and the degradation of African American women and Bling, so Lupe Fiasco did a song "Dumb It Down" which i think put him on the map, as well as his songs about skate boarding, robots (representing the projects), and superstars. He has definitely graduated and passed the class with honors and has decided to graduate from the hip hop game completely. Lupe Fiasco is said to be dropping his VERY LAST ALBUM called the LupE.N.D. (Everywhere, Nowhere, and Down There), which will have three C.D's in it. We're sure gonna miss this Alumni.
Saigon - I wanted to laugh while typing his name. I guess after Saigon ran up out of that club when those mobb deep guys tried some real
Lil Boosie - Who picks these people? I guess every school has to have a class clown. No doubt "Wipe Me Down" did make noise and everybody was wiping on there "Shoulders, Chest,..." when he was FEATURED on the song. Then he hit the radio stations last year and had ladies in the southern schools passing spelling tests with his part on Webbie's song "I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.T". This class clown has barely passed but I'm not looking for him to pass this next year.
Rich Boy - His song says it all "Throw Some D's On That" because that's what I'm putting on his report card. No passing grades from him because after Throw Some D's he did a remix with M.I.A. for paper planes but i haven't seen him make much other noise than that this year. Seems like there's no class participation coming from this freshmen. He's getting left back a year. Lets hope he gets it together.
Plies - Plies Definitely passes. He's been very consistent but not with alot of songs with much substance. I guess he got a C for consistency. With Buss It Baby (Pt 1 - 1thousand smh) and other songs whose names don't readily come to mind Plies has also been considered the Future of rap
Young Dro - **Update** Thats Young Joc who had people doing the motorcycle. I was typing and not thinking. Young Dro FAILED. I dont even remember anything after that "Shoulder Lean" Joint. Nothing memorable even though i recently saw him in a video for "Aint I" with nothing but slippers on his feet.
Gorilla Zoe - Gorilla Zoe showed up at my school and these kids went NUTS. I didn't initially understand why. I didn't even like that "Hood N*gga" song he had out. The only other song that I've heard from him that in my eyes is worth mentioning is "Lost" featuring Lil Wayne which came out this year. I guess he decided to end the year strong. Well Too little too late. No passing grade. LMAO I'm kidding. I don't know he's like the kid that you don't remember and cant even recall the days he's been in class. Really quiet and behaves so you don't want to fail him. I don't know what kind of grade he gets
Fly Like Paper Get High Like Planes (Song Of The Year?)

Yessss I Say Give it to her. I sure hope Diplo, a very Pregnant M.I.A., and Switch (who makes all of santogolds remixes HOT!!) take this one home especially because Lil wayne will be taking home 1 too many Grammy's that night
M.I.A.'s Paper Planes was nominated for song of the year at the Grammy's. The Paper Planes record was eventually picked up and sampled for T.I.'s Swagger Like Us which is when alot of people finally got hip to M.I.A. the Sri Lanka Native who makes HOT music.

Plaxico Burress Gets The Mike Vick Treatment

So NOW every body who wants to eventually play any kind of pro ball now knows that you CANNOT depend on your teammates to NOT SNITCH on you...even when you shoot yourself in the leg. You cant shoot yourself in the leg these days, cant steal your own stuff....nothing. Im moving to canada or something.
Embattled Giant Plaxico Burress' teammate Antonio Pierce will play ball - with prosecutors. The linebacker will cooperate and testify before a Manhattan grand jury about how Burress clumsily shot himself in the leg at a nightclub, The Post has learned.
Pierce's testimony should guarantee an indictment against Super Bowl hero Burress for felony weapon possession - but at the same time, give Pierce a pass on charges of hiding the wide receiver's .40-caliber Glock pistol after the shooting.
It was Pierce who drove the wounded Burress to New York-Cornell hospital early Saturday. Then Pierce drove his own SUV, with the unlicensed Glock in the glove compartment, home to Totowa, NJ, sources say.
Burress' wife, Tiffany, who went to the hospital after the shooting, retrieved the Glock the following day from Pierce's residence and brought it to the Burress home, also in Totowa, where investigators retrieved it, sources say
I got this somewhere on the POST but because i X'ed out the window i'll post the link a little later.
OJ Sentenced
15 years for stealing your own stuff? Really? SMH the American Justice system is something else. But My dude O.J. wasn't supposed to go out like this, crying and stuff.

Jim Jones And His Suspicious Sayings (Complex Interview)

I don't know it just seems like Jim Jones has been saying alot of stuff that deserves a "No Homo" or "Pause" at the end of the sentence or statement but he's not saying either one. Whatever suspicious and overtly weird actions such as throwing Champagne on Men (Pop Champagne Video) and rhyming to Jigga Man's entire "Swagga Like Us" verse or doing OFF BROADWAY plays, this man will NEVER ever be forgotten and will probably be doing alot of other craziness in the future....Remember back when i did the other post on Jim Jones' Complex Interview Well Here's Some Outtakes that didn't make the Internet the first time around:
Complex: This year, it seems like Dame has been really focused on trying to make you a star. Some people have compared his drive to the way he pushed Jay-Z at the beginning. How do you respond to that?
Jim Jones: Shit, that’s a great comparison. If you look at it, Dame did alright for Jay-Z. That old nigga has cake, he’s paid. So how bad can that be? Dame made history, he started Roc-A-Fella records, and I’ve seen it. I watched the first Roc-A-Fella fitted he had on his head that he made from a 3rd Avenue store when it was just stitched on and shit. He’s a historical person, he’s done it and he’s done it well. He not only did it with Jay, but he did it with Kanye; he set a precedent for niggas that want to become something in this game, who come from the street and want to make a lot of money. Dame is a beast—when I was younger, I always admired his hustle. I can do more. I don’t need to use rap as a crutch for the rest of my life. I can rap and I can do the business, I can model and do the business, I can own a production team. It’s a big difference over here, [Jay-Z] can’t do that. He’s not that savvy, not that fly, I don’t think he’s that handsome. All he has is a gorgeous flow—my momma raised a gorgeous child.
Yeah man ....Hova's not as handsome OR as savvy as Jim Jones is .... =/ Nope.
Another very interesting Outtake that i wanted to share with you guys is this one because this is what I've been talking to alot of people about lately, one person in particular my homeboy C. Jervis. What Jim Jones says here is probably the most sensible thing he's said in the whole complex interview:
Complex: You said that at one point, Jay-Z was your favorite rapper and then he went out “like a dud.” When did your perception of him change?
Jim Jones: When he went from being a boss to an employee and he had no reason for doing that. I took a job with Kevin Liles and them because I had all the reason in the world to do that—I’m a hustler and I wanted to learn the whole game from the inside out. At that point, when Jay went corporate, he already knew the whole game. Roc-A-Fella was on a roll that nobody could probably stop, ever. So when you downshift and you go from wanting to run your own ship to being on a crew on somebody else’s ship, I don’t care how big the ship is, it’s not the same. You lose the power. You lose the equity, and to me it’s like you just sold your soul. You fell into the loop. And you supposed to come from the street—we’re supposed to always set our own precedent and do it the way we wanna do it.
READ MORE OUTTAKES AT COMPLEX's BLOG. Comple asks him about if he ever ran into Beyonce' and "THE ONE" (Congrats Jim) and how long she's been with her.
This Is So Not Wavy...Owwww

If you've been Silver surfing the web trying to get to Max B's website by typing in F*ckJimJones.com and your getting an error message or realizing that the URL changes once you get on the site thats because Max B has allegedly said he doesnt want to beef with Jim Jones anymore. Here's A Press Release his PR's sent over:
It has come to our attention that many blogs and major sites has been listing Max B's website as www.f*ckjimjones.com. However, we want to make it clear that we are now using the URL www.Wavycrocket.com. We are moving away from the beefing with Jim Jones and implementing a new campaign to make Max B a star without using Jim's name.
I Guess Max B said He dont have to deal with this, he's getting "Amalgam Money" (Arab Money? Who Needs That?)
I got a question, how does he silver surf in the winter? Is it silver sleighing?
Well if your feeling Wavy Right Now and haven't gotten enough of the silver surfer then click on this wavy link and listen to His Track with Charles Hamilton

Jim Jones Taking Shots At Hova
*Yawn* This guy needs someone new to pick on because picking on someone who wont respond to you the whole time your taking shots, then he just shuts your whole career down with two lines in ONE song is getting old. Jim Jones go see what Fat Joe Is Up To. Maybe he finally decided to get over the 50 cent beef (Highly Unlikely)

Ne Yo - Mad (Have You Seen This Video Before)
I Know I'm Late Posting this, and i wouldn't post it if i was late because you would have already seen it. BUT I'm here to point something out. Well first lets post the "Mad" video, which is great. I love the concept and i fell in love with the song a long time ago.
But (possibly) Unlike you guys I'm a Nickleback fan, yes i said fan. I couldn't help but realize how ...."similar" Ne Yo's video was to Nickleback's "Someday" video, Which was brilliant and probably more explosive and shocking in the end than Ne Yo's because i predicted once he tried to save the kid that he was dead.
Here's Nickleback's Video This song is great i love it and still do.

Cory Gunz x Freeway - On The Spot Freestyle (A Classic)
Cory Gunz - LMAO @ Sponge Bob Humping a Fairy Odd Parent. I still love his flow but he starting to turn his lyrics into that lil' wayne martian shit.
His second freestyle was way better than the first.
Third Verse - Loved it as usual Why he stop like that. I Know he was mad that 50 beat came on next
4th Verse - Cory Gunz was on point for real here, and was feeling gangster and called people on myspace cyber bangers. My New favorite word "Cyber Banger" LMAO and was HYPE when the "All about the benjamins" Beat came on
5th verse - Heres That CRAZY FLOW but with more sensible lyrics I Think I Love His Flow. Im Smitten.
6th Verse - JUST LISTEN!!! Im Tired Of Typig Please Believe it gets crazy especially the beats ..the beats get wayyy better.
Freeway - "Im The Illest Like Biggie Smalls" Yesssss a freestyleeeee a real freestyllleeee FINALLY!!! None of that written stuff! Freeway give us an album.
His second Verse i was thinking "Muslim's dont talk like that"
Third Verse - He Killed It AGAIN!!!
Fourth - Free way Osama??? And is that the second time he referred to Obama? Dropped outta highschool not college? Is He Prou Of That? WELL His verse was iight

I Think I Hate Young Berg

This fool... Wait Wait, first off i hate to open my E-Mail up to stupidity and ignorance. Now ....This fool is supposed to be looking for love VIA a "Reality Show". Guess who he wants front and center? If you said light skin girls your wrong, he wants some dark butts to come on through. Most likely the darkest chick on the show will probably win. WHY? Because obviously his dumb ass PR people are trying to clear the air about those statements he made about how much he dislikes
What they don't know is that I'm filing this under shit we wont ever let entertainers forget for as long as they live.
I really think i hate him. He gets robbed and slapped and everything. I just think i want to fight him. He disses dark skinned women and ughhh lets girls feel on his balls at concerts. I would put links to these stories but just click on his name in the labels section because i don't think i can even relive those events by going back to these posts.

Speaking Of ROC's

Please Ignore Diddy All In The Camera
Beyonce would like the world to know about her roc as well.
I like this song because its so sincere. I would probably like it more if i had a significant other and we were on that level where you think your in love.
Speaking Of Beyonce. I didnt exactly buy the album but i took one from a family member (LMAO) and i listened to it. The whole "Beyonce" Album should have been titled "Im Married" Or "This is for my husband Hova" or something. All Love Songs, Sasha Fierce was more charismatic and my cousin says "I dont even play that other CD (beyonce's side)"
I Like Both
I would have a download link but Sony and them are on the prowl making sure we dont put this song out. I guess their still mad this person's name here Leaked The Album.
I guess im on my R&B stuff today. Maybe not. Let me see what Plies is doing since Vibe said He's The Future Of Rap
Teairra Mari - U Said

Teairra said:
"You gave me a Roc and then you took it back"
OUCH!!!
AKA "Jay- Z You Lied To Me And Im Hurt". Teairra aint the only one who feels like Jay took the roc a few years back when they did that cover for (xxl?? Vibe??) that magazine. He wasClaiming he now had the new ROC, (LMAO @ Lebron James Being a Part of Rocafella tho!). Peedi Cack All of them are really upset with him. Im like the biggest Jay- Z fan but that was selfish.
I LOVE this song. I really do. I hear it leaked in MAY something. I googled Beyonce's "Roc" and this came up on Necole Bitchie. I never heard it but i like it. I Guess Im DEF Looking forward to her new album which needs to eventually drop soon before i forget.
Soon I'll HAve A Link To Download it.

Kanye And His Samples.
Um. I dont know if the person who made this was hating on Ye' BUT. I must say that i actually like music made with samples. Especially songs that i've never heard like the elton John Sample for "Good Morning". I cant be mad at him, and maybe it'll help me appreciate his album much more. Jervis Its growing on me (maybe). We have artists who steal whole verses to R&B songs *cough* wayne *cough*.
Well here's a bunch of songs Ye' sampled and his songs with the samples on them.
P.S. can anybody explain it to me in my comments why its called a "sample"
I typed out about 5 minutes into the video of songs he sampled but they disappeared. Well watch the video for those songs and titles. I think somebody may have typed them in the subtitles or something.
Kanye is a musical genius and possible dictionary. Om just happy he knows most of those songs and he's not one of those hip hop artists who when asked who their inspirations or something is they answer with a predictable "KRS One". I have NOTHING against KRS one ... Im Just saying its nice to know something other than hip hop. I think I'll take another listen to the album, and i understand why he dresses the way he does now. Alot of kid's choose retro, Ye' took it back to the late 60's and 70's on us. Just look at the songs he chose to sample. Ye' got Sooouuulllll!!

Red Man & Method Man
Funkmaster Flex was cool when he (barked on) spoke about the R. Kelly interview. I believe alot of us were upset about that. Out of curiosity, what is he messing with my boo Method man for? IDK but Flex chill out for they give you the how high treatment.
Yall know what treatment im talking about, when they walked in dean's class "You sammy davis lookin mother f**ker" lmao

Novakane - Shawty Said [video]
I dont know why but this song goes hard down here. They look at me funny when i change radio stations so i leave it on and let it rock. The original song is different from this and has no vocoder. The video version has someone else singing, because the original has Lil' Wayne, ... wonder what happened, well no i dont not really.
HOWEVER during thanksgiving we were talking about how brooklyn boys would have these southern girls Open and sprung!! I dont know if you heard it already or not but here's Jay-Z and Kanye west sampling another one of the lesser known artists. Like they did with M.I.A. they took Santogold and matched her up with Jay-Z and hip hop music and came up with this:
Brooklyn (Go Hard) -- Jay-Z ft. Santogold
Via On Smash .
Its old but maybe some of you haven't heard it yet, right?

Alexis is wrong for making him feel like a bad person. And ummm I want my money back from 808's and Heartbreak.
Here's what he had to say about that conference.
When I listened back to the New Zealand conference I was like whoa this is pretty harsh. Sometimes I speak with no filter. I did not mean to be so harsh on the subject of Christianity being that I was a well known Christian. When I was at my Mom's funeral a fucking stranger came up to me and said, "I hope you've accepted Jesus as your saviour so you can see your Mother again!" My entire life, being an african american, Christianity was forced down my throat. Since I was a child, I would ask questions like, "so are little babies that can't speak yet going to hell also?" I one thousand percent believe in God, I believe in Karma, I believe in being a good person. I'm not trying to tell people what they should believe or not believe. To each is his own. I was in situations where someone constantly used Jesus to show me how baaaad a person I was or how not perfect or not Christ like I was. When I say I don't want to be Christ like I'm saying I'm fine with not being perfect. I'm fine with being a human being. I'm happy with just that.

This is the song that he's probably most known for, that came out a long time ago, ... a really long time ago before the video came out. really long ...LOL.
New Stuff!!
Um, OK!
So i bought alot of stuff (c.d's) over the week since i had time off and nothing better to do than buy albums which i was skeptical about.
Kanye West - I dont like it and im ready to give it away. Anybody wants an album i listened to once?
Beyonce - was not as bad as i originally thought it would be. I actually like a song thats not on the regular album but can be found on the deluxe album "Ego" and i also like "Radio". Halo is cool and im still trying to figure out what Ave Maria is about because that song got interesting once someone told me it was actually a christmas song. The story of Mary? I dont know but i know me and google have alot of work to get done tonight so maybe i'll google that as well.
Im deleting my facebook, well maybe.
Were you wondering where papoose was? yeah me too!
