MIDNIGHT By Sister Soulja Is New York Times Best Seller

WHaaaaatttt!!!??

I swear i don't know whats going on in the world. Black President, Bush Pardons John Forte',(You may remember him mostly from the Fugees, just click the link for more info on him) AND NOW Sister Souljah's MIDNIGHT is # 7 ON NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLERS LIST?

I thought people had given up on Urban Novel's. This is definitely one of the more tasteful Urban writers.

If you never read "The Coldest Winter Ever" then you may want to read that before you even attempt to read Midnight. I think I'm about to call back home and have somebody pick this up for me if they haven't already. Ughh i heard them Africans downtown Brooklyn are selling them books like Beyonce C.D.'s!!

MIDNIGHT, is the new novel by New York Times bestselling author and hip-hop pioneer Sister Souljah. MIDNIGHT is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Sister Souljah's enormously successful debut, The Coldest Winter Ever. Originally published by Atria Books in 1999 and now widely considered the book that created the urban fiction genre, The Coldest Winter Ever is currently in its 20th printing and has over one million copies in print. In announcing the acquisition of MIDNIGHT, Judith Curr, Executive Vice President and Publisher said: "The Coldest Winter Ever was a phenomenon and we look forward to watching MIDNIGHT catch on in the same way,"

This might not be exciting for alot of illiterate people but if you like to read and have already read "The Coldest Winter Ever" then you understand this posting.

I read the Coldest Winter Ever twice. I can hardly remember anything right now except the guy finding the jolly rancher with his tongue, but it was a good book. Sista Souljah is an intelligent girl, so I'm not surprised her book sold well.

Well, I just got thru reading Midnight 2 days ago. I read The Coldest Winter Ever also. In my oppinion Midnight is a GOOD book but not as a sequel to The Coldest Winter Ever.
