Governor Paterson Is Tripping.


The recession is hitting everyone, even people who actually buy albums.
Trying to close a $15.4 billion budget gap, Paterson called for 88 new fees and a host of other taxes, including an "iPod tax" that taxes the sale of downloaded music and other "digitally delivered entertainment services."

"We're going to have to take some extreme measures," Paterson said Tuesday after unveiling the slash-and-burn budget.

Artists i think you guys need to say something about this. People already dont buy your albums, do you think they'll download your stuff if we're taxed?
Well i think this is horrible to raise taxes on music. The one thing that we need in times like this.

dude is trippin, I think he's gonna force people to start downloading pirated shit again, itunes is gonna be like what.... $1.25, $1.50 per song thats insane

Yea dude should start thinking about cutting government spending before taxing people that are buying music.. *SMH* How much tax revenue does he really expect to gain here? Ugh

PATERSON NEEDS 2 GO PERIOD.. I KNOW CUZ I SEEN A PREVIEW OF THE NONENESS THINGS HE WANTS 2 DO IN THIS STATE OF NEW YORK, AND I WORK ON THE CITY END OF THINGS..
